Upload Supporting Documentation for Your UCC Filing
Sending backup documentation to NCS just got easier with our latest enhancement to the file upload feature!
You already know you can upload backup documentation via your original filing request (if you didn’t know, hang in there, we’ll show you in just a moment) – now you can also upload documentation via Account Management and through Monitoring. Let’s take a look!
Upload Documents via Documentation Tab
When submitting a new request to NCS, the fourth tab you will see is the Documentation Tab. The Documentation Tab will provide you the opportunity to upload the various documents necessary. To attach files, simply click “Select file(s)” and a separate box will appear which will allow you to browse for the file.
Upload Documents via Continuation
When you submit a filing for continuation, via Account Management, a pop-up will appear. This pop-up likely looks familiar, with one power-packed addition = Documentation: Browse.
To attach files, simply click “Browse” and a separate box will appear which will allow you to browse for the file. Select the desired attachment & click OK. After you click OK, the document title will appear at the bottom of the pop-up and you can select the appropriate document description, then click the green check mark.
Add a document by accident? No worries! Just click the little red trash can to the right of the green check mark and the document will be removed.
In this example, I uploaded a document which I titled “article1.pdf” which happens to be a copy of the Articles of Incorporation.
Upload Documents via Monitoring
If you enjoy the Monitoring Calendar, you will appreciate the added benefit of uploading documents and continuing your filing in one place.
Uploading documentation via Monitoring works the same way as it does via Account Management. Simply follow the same steps above and voila!
